Get stronger, increase your bone density, and boost your flexibility and balance with the DKN Technology V-Power whole body vibration machine. Low-speed, low-magnitude vibrating platforms are changing the way many people exercise and manage their fitness, wellness, and longevity. By moving, exercising, or even standing on a vibrating platform, you'll not only improve your overall fitness, but also enjoy the added benefits of better skin, better posture, and a better look. The machine works by producing gentle vibrations that move into and throughout your entire body. This mechanical stimulus produces a stretch reflect that, depending on the selected frequency, vigorously contracts your muscles at 20 to 50 times per second. With each repeat of the process, the body adjusts slightly more to the level of effort, resulting in an increase in physical performance. The phenomenon, called super-compensation, reinforces the natural healing rejuvenative process that's always occurring inside our bodies, helping you achieve greater results in much less time. A time commitment of 15 minutes a day, three times per week can strengthen and tone the body or boost bone density while causing minimal stress on the joints.

The V-Power is DKN's entry-level whole body vibration exerciser. Specially designed for home use, the machine offers several manual presets for frequency range and exercise time, along with an intuitive console that tracks your session progress. The V-Power is also more compact than many other vibration platforms--making it easy to fit in smaller homes or apartments--and consumes only a moderate amount of power.

About Whole Body Vibration
Whole body vibration (WBV) re-creates the muscle stretch reflect through the following process: The machine stimulates a tendon, causing a muscle stretch reflect. The receptors in the muscles and joints note this shift in length, and then pass the information on to the spinal cord. The brain then responds to this sensory stimulus (via the spinal column) by directly contracting the stretched muscle, helping work the muscle and improve overall performance. Many studies have demonstrated that a 10-minute exercise session on a WBV machine is equivalent to and even better than an hour workout on conventional fitness equipment.

The V-Power's vibrating platform stimulates your muscles 20 to 50 times per minute.
The impact of WBV is significant in the medical field, as positive results have been observed in Parkinson's disease patients and patients suffering from other degenerative diseases. Studies have also shown that WBV substantially slows down the progression of osteoporosis in women and elderly people while also helping them rebuild bone density. Other observed benefits include a boost in flexibility and range of motion, reduced lower back pain, and accelerated weight loss.

The DKN Vibration trainer is for personal WBV training at home. Intuitive LCD display monitoring frequency settings and timer. The Platform produces a vibration through which energy is transferred from the platform to the body. By standing on the platform you will notice how your body automatically adjusts to the vibrations. This mechanical stimulus produces a stretch reflex which, depending on the selected frequency , results in muscles vigorously contacting 20 to 50 times a second. Exercise causes the body to tire; rest allows it to recover . By repeating this process, the body adjusts to the level of effort, resulting in an increase in physical performance. This phenomenon, called super compensation, similarly occurs when training on the platform. However, compared with traditional training methods, greater results are achieved in much less time.
